African Explorers is built for people who believe the best stories begin where the tar road ends.

From the dunes of Namibia to the remote riverbeds and mountain passes of Southern Africa, African Explorers seeks out the routes that are rougher, quieter, and far more memorable. Their adventures are not about rushing from one destination to the next. They are about the journey itself — the dust, the breakdowns, the sunsets, the recoveries, the campfires, and the moments in between.

At the center of many of these journeys is Betty, their iconic Land Rover Defender V8. A machine with character, scars, and stories of its own. Alongside Betty, a growing fleet of Land Cruiser 80s continues the mission: exploring Southern Africa properly, one trail at a time.
